What we need from you
Most clearances need a commercial invoice, a packing list and the air waybill or bill of lading. Some goods also need a licence or approval from the relevant Singapore authority before they can be imported or exported.
The invoice should show a clear description of the goods, the quantity, the value and the currency, and the Incoterms. Vague descriptions are the most common cause of delays.
Send us the documents as early as you can. We check them before the cargo arrives, so any gaps can be fixed while it is still on its way.

How long does customs clearance take in Singapore?
Straightforward shipments with correct documents are usually cleared quickly. Goods that need extra licences, or shipments selected for inspection, can take longer. Sending complete documents early is the best way to avoid delays.
Do I pay GST on imports into Singapore?
Imported goods are generally subject to GST, and some goods also attract customs or excise duty. If the goods go into a bonded or free trade zone warehouse, duty and GST can be suspended until they are released. We will confirm what applies to your shipment.
Can you clear cargo that another forwarder shipped?
Yes. We can handle the clearance and delivery for cargo arriving in Singapore even if the freight was booked by someone else.
