Good to know

FCL or LCL: which one do you need?

FCL (full container load) means your cargo has a whole container to itself. You pay for the container, not the space you use. It is usually the better choice once your cargo fills a large part of a 20ft container, and it means less handling.

LCL (less than container load) means your cargo shares a container with other shippers, and you pay for the volume (CBM) or weight you take up. It suits smaller shipments.

Not sure which is better value? Send us the number of pieces, their dimensions and weight, and we will quote both where it makes sense. You can also work out the volume with the CBM and container load planner.

Can't find your answer? Call +65 6692 2999 or email [email protected].

What container sizes can you book?

We book 20ft, 40ft and 40ft high cube containers for FCL shipments. If you are unsure which size you need, send us the packing list and we will advise.

Does my cargo need fumigation?

Cargo with solid wood packing, such as pallets, crates or dunnage, often needs fumigation or ISPM 15 treated wood, depending on the destination. Tick "Fumigation required" on the quote form, or ask us and we will check.

What do you need to quote for sea freight?

The port of loading and discharge (or pickup and delivery addresses), the commodity, the number of packages, their dimensions and weight, and the Incoterms. For FCL, the container type and quantity.

Do you handle sea freight imports into Singapore?

Yes. We clear the cargo through customs, collect it from the port and deliver to your premises, or store it in our warehouse until you need it.
